Native American Storytelling
As part of the Museum's Native American Heritage Month celebrations, Alex Mares will host Native American Storytelling. Mr. Mares, a formally trained Native American storyteller and interpreter will tell coyote stories and others which are traditionally told in winter by Navajo, Pueblo and Apache tribes. Families with children age 4 and above and adults will enjoy this special cultural storytelling event. Our storyteller, Mr. Mares, shares stories from his cultural background which includes Diné, Pueblo, Jicotec and Spanish. We will also have complimentary refreshments for the audience.
