Explore El Paso's History From A to Z
El Paso A to Z, Revived is a journey through El Paso's history inspired by the original El Paso A to Z exhibition that opened the museum 10 years ago. The artifacts and their corresponding letters are sprinkled through the gallery in a random order to allow visitors to explore and discover new things about El Paso's history.
Items included in the exhibition range from a homecoming mums and a gown the Sun Queen wore to exotic items El Pasoans brought back from their travels in the 1920s and 30s. The Museum also has items on loan from El Pasoans who made history like Rosa Guerrero.
After exploring El Paso A to Z, visitors are encouraged to come up with their own El Paso Alphabets based on their interests. The Museum is asking the community to upload photos and the item's story to the Digital Wall at www.digie.org and use the tag "Alphabet Soup".
