Focus on Perspectives Lecture Series: Daniel Chacon 

Daniel Chacón is the author of five books with his latest novel, “The Cholo Tree”. Daniel Chacón has received many awards for his writing including the Southwest Book Award and the Hudson Prize. He hosts “Words on a Wire,” a literary radio show on KTEP and is a professor of Fiction at UTEP.  As part of the lecture series, Focus on Perspectives, Daniel Chacón will discuss the creative process, specifically the art of fiction and poetry, how our creative practice mirrors concepts in mysticism and physics, and how we can use the metaphors therein to understand and strengthen our imagination and our work.
